Tattoo “Pork Chop Sheet” definition

Tattoo “pork chops” is a nickname for the tattoo flash sheets that have artwork cut out from other flash. The name “pork chops” does not refer to the odd shapes of the cutouts, but rather that these pieces are the best of the best. Tattoo artists would usually keep track of which drawings were the most popular and sold the most. They would then cut out these individual drawings from the sheets and put them together on one featured sheet. The designs on this sheet would usually bring in the most money, so the tattooist could move up from ground round to pork chops on the menu.
